RECENT WORK

Second Wind Foundation, White River Junction, VT, 2007 - present
-Assistant Director. Marketing, grant writing and general assistance to Executive Director with operations and programs including the Upper Valley Turning Point recovery center and Willow Grove women's transitional housing. A 501 (c) (3) non-profit, Second Wind's mission is to advance recovery from substance abuse, addiction and addictive behaviors by offering recovery support services, education and advocacy for social, cultural and health care parity with other illnesses.


Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, 2004-present
-part-time court supervision, reservations and sales at Dartmouth's Alexis A. Boss Tennis Center.

Weinmann Communications, Norwich, VT, 1999- present

SUMMARY OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Television Commercial Producer, New York, NY
-produced national television commercials for many of the world's leading advertisers, from American Express to Xerox.

As a producer for advertising agencies,
led creative and account management teams through selection of and negotiation with film production companies, film editors and music producers; casting for on-and off-camera talent; set design and location scouting; live-action motion picture photography; music creation and production; soundtrack recording & mixing and film & videotape editing. Created and managed schedules and provided primary contact with suppliers while managing budgets that typically averaged +/- $300K in 2008 dollars.

As a producer for film production companies, created and negotiated commercial project bids and managed established budgets. Provided creative, logistical and financial liaison with client advertising agency teams. Scheduled and managed casting for on-camera talent. Rented studio space and managed design and construction of sets and specialty props, and purchase, rental and creation of wardrobe. Directed scouting of and negotiation for filming locations. Created and managed schedules for pre-production and shooting. Rented, purchased and transported camera, lighting, grip, sound and special effects equipment. Hired, transported, fed, lodged and paid film crews numbering from a half-dozen to sixty people, while traveling to studios and locations across the U.S. and in Europe.

-production company Executive Producer. Responsible for sales, advertising and public relations for this firm with 1981 billings of $4-million. Clients included leading advertising agencies Leo Burnett, DMB & B, Grey, Ogilvy, Thompson, Saatchi and Y & R.

Kenyon & Eckhardt Advertising, New York, NY (since absorbed into the Interpublic Group) 1977-80
-ad agency Producer. Accounts included Lincoln Mercury, Helena Rubinstein, Excedrin.

Wylde Films Corporation, New York, NY (now defunct) 1973,74

-production company Producer for this TV commercial production division of Twentieth Century-Fox. Clients included leading advertising agencies NW Ayer, BBDO, Benton & Bowles, McCann Erickson, Needham Harper & Steers, J Walter Thompson, Wells Rich Greene and Young & Rubicam.
